MIDWEST CALIBRATION & REPAIR INC. is a calibration
lab located in Stacy, Minnesota specializing in the calibration of
measuring instruments, hard gaging and items used in manufacturing a variety of
products. MC&R has recently received accreditation through NVLAP, which is
part of NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). Their assigned
lab code is 200920-0.
Hard gaging calibration is all performed on a Mahr 828 CiM.
MC&R is one of three companies in the United States to have a 40” model, with
the other two being in large corporations and not available for public use.
This extremely accurate machine has been surrounded by masters calibrated by
NIST directly to provide customers with precision capabilities second to none. Hard
gaging includes pins, plugs, threaded members, plain rings, length standards
etc.
Personnel calibrate with an attention to detail attitude and
welcome questions, concerns or comments from all customers regarding use,
capabilities, or gage selection.
